This was our first vacation as a couple and it could not have been more perfect. The cottage was wonderful and private, the owners were extremely helpful and friendly, and the entire groundsoffered a perfect "Hideout".

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. We LOVED!! staying here. The room was warm and easy to keep it that way. It was very convinient to purchase lift tickets here.

I have been to Hombre Gordito at least 6 times. The staff is great, the accommodations are covy and it is close to the mountains as you can get without being on it! I plan on bringing my kids (and have already recruited several friends!). Love this place and will continue to come for years. TOP NOTCH!

The Hideout is a wonderful place to kick back, relax and enjoy a little R&R. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of our hosts. I strongly recommend staying here if coming to Ruidoso to ski or just to relax on vacation.
