Quiet, out of town, spacious sites. Really nice park, clean showers and pool area. Secure.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you said on your Internet is as you advertised. We appreciated the running water and electricity at each campsite and the clean bathroooms with flush toilets and showers for the reasonable price. We will be back for Ski Season!

The cabin was great for our family and small puppy. The kids have never been to mountains and enjoyed staying in the 'wilderness'. the playground, pool and horses were a big hit also.

Our July Stay:
This Hideout has so muchto offer to a family looking for fun and adventure.
We started our first evening with waqlking through trails. Then made our way to the pool, jacuzzi & sauna. The kids loved it!! We ended our first night with star gazing.
The next day (July 4th) was perfect for a trip into Carrizozo for fun, food & games at Valle del Sol Gazebo Park. We returned to once again cool off before heading out to Capitan for a super 'Texas-style' Rodeo. The Rodeo wrapped up with 5 minutes worth of fireworks.
Today, we took another great walk early in the morning and we were ready for horseback riding. Misty, our guide, was great with our kids. She made the ride even more enjoyable.
We had a great time and hope to return soon. Thank you for everything!!
